Headspace Psychologist

We are seeking expressions of interest from AHPRA Registered Psychologists to provide private practice services and deliver focused psychological strategies to young people aged 12-25.

Headspace is the National Youth Mental Health Foundation, acting as a one-stop-shop for young people seeking support with mental health, drug and alcohol, primary health, and vocational/educational issues.

• Part-time opportunity to provide private practice services
• Deliver focused psychological strategies to young people aged 12-25
• Work closely with our multidisciplinary team members as needed to coordinate care

As a contractor, you will have a referral base of young people who have been assessed and are ready to access services. You will be supported with:

• Full administrative support (including reception, billings, appointment bookings, and reminder service)
• Fully web-based medical record software with IT support
• Co-located General Practitioners

• Approved tertiary qualification in Psychology, with current unrestricted AHPRA registration
• Eligibility to provide Medicare Benefits Schedule services
• Willingness to undergo or provide full compliance documents including current Police Check, Working with Children's Check, and Covid Vaccination Evidence
• Your own equipment (unless specified in your agreement)
• Proof of professional indemnity insurance and ABN

Applicants must be an Australian Citizen, Permanent Resident or hold a valid work permit or visa. Work eligibility will be checked as part of the recruitment process.
