Early Childhood Educator Opportunity

We are seeking a passionate and experienced educator to join our learning community.

This is a unique opportunity to share daily planning and documentation with two other educators, greatly reducing your workload and increasing your day-to-day enjoyment. You will have dedicated time for planning and documenting, be professionally supported by experienced teachers, and have opportunities for professional growth.

About Our Learning Community:

  • We maintain a maximum of 55 children per day with a close-knit team of 12 permanent educators.
  • We utilise the Montessori method to guide our practices, emphasizing respect, independence, inspiring learning environments, and child-directed exploration.
  • Families are at the heart of everything we do, and we work closely with loyal and emotionally-invested families.

We aim to provide a truly personalised care program for every child, with educators having professional support and time to observe, teach, and reflect.

About You:

  • You must be genuinely passionate about being an educator.
  • Experience delivering individualised programs and care is essential.
  • You should feel enthusiastic about partnering with parents to support their journey and include their perspectives.
  • Energy, humour, warmth, creativity, and compassion are key qualities for this role.
  • You will love working within a collaborative team to engage in reciprocal and respectful relationships.
  • You should be intrinsically motivated and rewarded by making a positive impact in a child's life.

The Requirements:

  • A full-time position is ideal, but part-time positions will be considered if the right person is found.
  • Applicants must have experience and possess either a Certificate, Diploma, or Bachelor/Masters of Education (Early Childhood).
  • Montessori experience or training is highly-regarded, but not required.
