Engineering Project Coordinator

This role involves coordinating technical aspects to ensure quality standards are met throughout various projects. You will work collaboratively with design teams, site personnel, and suppliers to maintain project integrity.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide engineering input into fire protection system design and installation
  • Review drawings and design documentation to ensure compliance with codes, specifications, and project requirements
  • Assist in coordinating suppliers, subcontractors, and technical documentation
  • Track and monitor site progress to ensure technical accuracy and quality standards are met
  • Conduct inspections of systems as required
  • Assist with RFIs, technical queries, and compliance documentation
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date project records and engineering data
  • Report to the Project Manager, liaise with internal teams and site supervisors to resolve design or installation issues
  • Assess engineering deliverables and implement corrective actions
  • Work across multiple disciplines to meet project needs

To be successful in this role, you should have experience in an engineering role, preferably in construction, fire protection services, or a related field. Additionally, knowledge of Australian Standards related to fire systems is highly valued.
