Assembly Mechanic Opportunity

We seek a skilled Assembly Mechanic to carry out vehicle assembly and component fitting on the production line.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Accurately assemble components using various tools and equipment, adhering to specifications and procedures.
  • Support quality, productivity, and process improvement initiatives.
  • Participate in lean production activities.
  • Record and report faults to relevant areas of production.
  • Conduct work quality checks to ensure products meet quality and safety standards.
  • Maintain a clean, well-organised safe work area.
  • Maintain all equipment according to maintenance plans and procedures.
  • Contribute to problem solving and troubleshooting as part of a team responsible for continuous improvement to products and processes.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in similar or related roles.
  • Possess a tertiary qualification relevant to the position, such as certified accreditation in Mechanical or Electrical field; or workplace experience in relevant industries (Engineering, Automotive, Rail Construction, Manufacturing, Agriculture, Electrical/Electronics, Construction, Civil construction).
  • Experience with office management software (MS Office, particularly MS Excel and MS Word).
