Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Senior Data Scientist to join our high-impact data team. The successful candidate will play a key role in rolling out advanced Machine Learning initiatives across a complex, fast-paced commercial environment.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a highly skilled individual to drive ML delivery across commercial functions and contribute to the development of scalable ML solutions using Azure ML and MLOps frameworks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and deploy end-to-end ML models using Azure ML, Pipelines, and Data Factory
  • Build quick proof-of-concepts to demonstrate feasibility and refine solutions for production
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across commercial and technical teams to identify and prioritise business problems that can be solved with ML
  • Own the entire ML lifecycle from data preprocessing and feature engineering through to deployment, monitoring, and retraining
  • Implement scalable MLOps strategies including CI/CD, performance tracking, drift detection, and automated retraining
  • Work cross-functionally with data engineers and software developers to embed models into production systems

Requirements

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in data science and ML model development
  • Expertise in Azure ML and MLOps, with strong capability in feature engineering, model evaluation, and deployment
  • Proven experience developing and iterating on ML prototypes to quickly validate business value
  • Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines for ML and real-world deployment strategies
  • Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Previous experience in FMCG or supply chain industries is highly desirable
  • Familiarity with recommendation systems, time-series forecasting or geospatial analytics is a bonus
  • A collaborative mindset with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, iterative environment
