Production Support Specialist

Job Description:

  • Support the creative director and design team throughout the product development and production lifecycle.
  • Assist in setting seasonal booking deadlines and communicating timelines across departments and suppliers.
  • Create and implement critical paths alongside the design team and suppliers.
  • Manage weekly production meetings with design and production teams.
  • Support monthly handovers with suppliers and assist with resolving production issues.
  • Collate and report on costings and first margin data by department and supplier.
  • Manage the accurate handover of costing documents to the planning team.
  • Support the design team with costings and supplier negotiations.
  • Collate and track delivery information across departments.
  • Generate monthly delivery reports for design, retail, and warehouse teams.
  • Support the design team in maintaining internal delivery schedules.
  • Raise and manage claims on faulty products with suppliers.
  • Work closely with shipping and accounts to resolve claims and finalise faulty stock.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2-3 years' experience in a production, development coordinator or planning role within the fashion, apparel, or textile industry.
  • A tertiary qualification or equivalent in Fashion, Production Management, Supply Chain or a related field is desirable.
  • Experience working across the full product lifecycle, from development through to delivery.
  • Familiarity with offshore manufacturing processes and working with local and international suppliers.
  • Excellent organisational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Confident communicator with the ability to build effective relationships.
  • Proactive problem solver with a can-do attitude and the ability to work under pressure.
  • High attention to detail and a strong focus on accuracy.
