Warehouse Operations Coordinator Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Warehouse Operations Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our warehouse team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse.

The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, and be highly organized with great time management skills. They will also possess experience in warehouse management and be able to manage warehouse operations, coach staff, and liaise with customers to provide exceptional customer service.

To be successful in this role, you must be able to:

  • Manage inventory levels and maintain accurate records;
  • Coordinate the receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods in a timely and efficient manner;
  • Develop and implement processes to improve warehouse efficiency and productivity;
  • Liaise with suppliers and internal stakeholders to resolve any issues or discrepancies;
  • Maintain a high level of safety awareness and ensure compliance with WH&S policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Warehousing Operations: Manage the receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods in a timely and efficient manner;
  • Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory levels and records;
  • Team Coordination: Coach and motivate staff to achieve goals and objectives;
  • Customer Service: Liaise with customers to resolve any issues or concerns;
  • Process Improvement: Develop and implement processes to improve warehouse efficiency and productivity;
  • Safety Compliance: Maintain a high level of safety awareness and ensure compliance with WH&S policies and procedures.

Requirements

  • Education and Training: Certificate III in Warehousing or equivalent;
  • Experience: 2+ years' experience in warehousing operations, preferably in a supervisory or coordination role;
  • Skills and Abilities: Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written; highly organized with great time management skills; experience in warehouse management; ability to manage warehouse operations, coach staff, and liaise with customers to provide exceptional customer service.
