The NT Remote Locum Program is an Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander-led workforce initiative dedicated to strengthening healthcare services in remote communities across the Northern Territory. Our program seeks experienced Dialysis Nurses to provide high-quality care to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people in these communities.
Job Description
We are looking for skilled Dialysis Nurses who can work collaboratively with Aboriginal Health Practitioners, General Practitioners, nurses, and support staff to deliver culturally safe care in remote clinics.
This locum-based role offers short-term placements ranging from 3 to 12 weeks, with travel and accommodation covered by us.
Requirements
- Qualification/s in haemodialysis nursing with a minimum of 2 years of experience.
- Current AHPRA registration.
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS).
- A current National Criminal History Check (less than 6 months old).
- An unrestricted driver's license to drive in the Northern Territory.
- Up-to-date immunisation status, including COVID-19, Hepatitis A & B, MMR, Varicella, BCG, Influenza, and Pertussis.
