Job Opportunity

We are seeking skilled individuals to provide holistic and tailored care to clients in their own homes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver personalized care and assist with daily activities according to the Client Care Plan.
  • Collaborate with Registered Nurses to deliver client-specific care, including personal hygiene, toileting, nutrition, mobility, and more.
  • Identify client care needs and work effectively with the client's care team to ensure high-quality care.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, their families, and team members.
  • Support clients with light housekeeping duties to promote independence, including laundry, cleaning, and meal preparation.
  • Maintain accurate daily client records and promptly report any concerns to the RN/Care Manager.
  • Support clients with mobility aids, range-of-motion exercises, and non-sterile dressings, under the supervision of an RN.

Requirements

  • Cert III in Aged Care/Disability (or equivalent).
  • Current Senior First Aid certification, CPR certification, and Manual Handling certification.
  • A roadworthy and insured vehicle with a current driver's license.
  • Federal Police Clearance within the last 6 months.
  • Willingness to travel and flexibility with shifts.

Preferred Skills

  • Understanding of person-centred care.
  • Knowledge of relevant legislation and standards for home care.
  • Commitment to safety, infection control, and emergency procedures.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with empathy for elderly clients.
  • Multilingual abilities are a bonus.
