Purchasing Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Purchasing Specialist to join our team. This is a full-time permanent position that requires the successful candidate to be available to start as soon as possible.
- Plan and coordinate the purchase of goods and services in accordance with established policies and procedures;
- Determine the requirements of various departments and develop specifications for equipment, materials and supplies to be purchased;
- Negotiate offers from suppliers and award contracts to appropriate parties;
- Establish delivery schedules and monitor progress of delivery schedules;
- Contact clients and suppliers to resolve problems;
To be considered for this role, you must have:
- A degree in Business Administration or related field;
- 1-7 months of experience in purchasing or a related field;
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills;
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team;
- Strong organizational and time management skills;
