Key Responsibilities- Provide High-Quality Patient Care: Ensure patients' physical and psychological needs are met, and provide education, wound management, and drug administration as per Practice Protocol.
- Manage Nursing Patient Load: Effectively manage nursing patient load, ensuring timely and efficient care delivery.
- Facilitate Communication: Facilitate effective lines of communication with doctors, patient services, physics, and radiation therapy staff, and provide feedback as relevant.
- Liaise with Colleagues: Liaise with co-located St. Vincent's Campus - Private and Public Hospital nursing staff, ensuring seamless care coordination.
- Document Patient Events: Ensure all patient listed events are documented, communicated, and actioned.
- Monitor and Maintain Procedures: Monitor and maintain procedures, protocols, practices, and clinical guidelines in line with best practice radiation oncology nursing standards.
- Medication Management: Ensure medication management protocols are followed.
- Establish Communication: Establish communication for allied health services using ISBAR communication tool, and provide documented evidence.
- Handover Procedures: Comply with patient handover procedures as per ISBAR communication tool.
- Reliability, Motivation & Flexibility: Demonstrate reliability, motivation, and flexibility in a fast-paced clinical environment.

- Post-Graduate Experience: Minimum two years post-graduate experience.
