About the Role

The position of Nuclear Medicine Specialist is available at St Vincent's Medical Imaging Department. The successful candidate will be expected to provide safe, independent consultant practice, and have competence and experience of nuclear medicine and PET-CT, perform stress tests independently, provide therapy such as Iodine 131, consultations for therapy, injections for Yttrium knee therapy and shunt studies, as well as be able to report the variety of nuclear medicine and PET studies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Medical Degree from a medical school recognized in Victoria
  • Nuclear Medicine FRACP/FRANZCR
  • RANZCR or RACP Fellowship
  • Registration with AHPRA
  • Good standing with own Medical Defence Organisation
  • Radiation Use Licence
  • Current National criminal history check, or willing to obtain/ Current NDIS Worker Screening Check, or willing to obtain (Select which is applicable)
