About the RoleWe are seeking ICU professionals to provide onsite 24/7 medical care, assessment and coordination of patients within the ICU/HDU.
Key Responsibilities- Support the provision of critical care to patients within Intensive Care Units, including providing clinical advice and support to practitioners for patients
- Efficient management of admissions and discharges to Intensive Care in coordination with the in-charge nurse when on duty
- Participation in the Intensive Care roster including out-of-hour's roster commitments
- Demonstrated competence and experience in delivering high quality, compassionate patient care within an Intensive Care Unit setting
- Ability to lead and coordinate multidisciplinary teams effectively, while demonstrating excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Commitment to teaching and mentoring students, trainees and staff including medical, nursing and allied health professionals
- Eligibility for full registration with AHPRA, or currently registered as a medical practitioner
- Postgraduate qualifications and relevant experience in ICU and anaesthetics required
