
Disaster Response Specialist

As an Emergency Services Officer, you will be a vital member of our emergency response team. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure the day-to-day running of emergency services, medical, and security teams is maintained at optimal levels.
- Respond to on-site emergencies and maintain operational readiness.
- Provide leadership and training services for the emergency response volunteer team (ERT) and other site departments in emergency management practices.
- Conduct equipment preparedness inspections and reporting.
- Plan, coordinate, and participate in site emergency drills.
- Assist in providing site security services.
- Provide medical services and ensure medical facilities are maintained in operationally ready status.
Maintaining a high level of fitness is essential for this role. We encourage applicants with pre-hospital healthcare qualifications such as the Certificate IV in Health Care to apply.
Essential Requirements:- Rope rescue and road crash rescue experience.
- Firefighting and confined space rescue skills.
- Breathing apparatus (Open Circuit) proficiency.
- Introduction to AIIMS knowledge (desirable).
- Previous experience in the mining and resource sector.
- Excellent presentation, organizational, and communication skills.
- Microsoft Office applications skills including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and make quick decisions.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Highly developed problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
