Area Manager On-site Leader

The OpportunityWe're seeking a highly skilled and experienced leader to take charge of the performance and operations of multiple retail stores and services across NSW, including Western Sydney, South Coast, Regional NSW, and ACT. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for driving sales growth, improving customer satisfaction, and ensuring operational excellence across the area.
Key Responsibilities- Sales & Profitability: Develop and implement sales strategies to meet and exceed area sales targets, identify trends and opportunities for growth and improvement, and work closely with Store Managers to optimise sales and profitability.
- Financial Management: Manage the area budget, ensuring financial goals are met, analyse financial reports, and identify areas for cost reduction and efficiency improvement.
- Operations: Oversee inventory management to ensure stock levels are appropriate and losses are minimised, implement and monitor compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Team Management & Development: Recruit, train, and develop Store Managers to build a high-performing team, conduct regular performance reviews, and provide coaching and feedback.
- Customer Experience: Ensure a consistent and superior customer experience across all stores, address customer complaints and issues promptly and effectively, and review customer feedback mechanisms to continuously improve service.
- Services Management: Oversee the provision of additional services, including car seat installation, personalised appointments, product hire, and cleaning, and ensure key performance metrics are achieved.
We're looking for a candidate with a minimum of 5 years' experience in retail management, a passion for the baby goods industry, and a proven track record of driving sales growth and improving customer satisfaction. You'll need to be a natural-born leader with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to manage and resolve conflicts among staff and customers. Strong financial acumen and prior experience in developing and managing budgets to meet financial goals are essential.
