Job Overview:

The Partnership Facilitator is a pivotal role within our department, fostering collaborative relationships between communities, services, and the Department of Education to ensure quality early learning experiences for every child.

This position focuses on implementing early childhood initiatives that prioritize participation, engagement, and smooth transitions into formal schooling, leading to improved educational and wellbeing outcomes.

  • Leading and delivering early childhood-specific projects, preparing high-quality reports and briefings, and developing strong partnerships with internal and external stakeholders to support regional early years priorities.
  • Gathering and analyzing data from diverse sources—including demographic trends, ECEC sector performance, and local government planning—to inform strategic decision-making.
  • Identifying local priorities, addressing emerging trends, and building community capacity, ensuring tailored responses to regional needs.
  • Through targeted activities, collaboration with stakeholders, and provision of timely advice to the Manager, shaping high-impact strategies that address early childhood needs at a local and regional level, optimizing quality outcomes for all children.
