Removals Assistant Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and energetic Removals Assistant to join our team. As a key member of our removals crew, you will be responsible for assisting with all aspects of residential and commercial moves.

  • Loading and unloading furniture and other household/office items onto and off the removal truck
  • Disassembling and reassembling furniture as required
  • Wrapping and protecting items to prevent damage during transit
  • Assisting with the placement of items in the new location as directed by the customer

To succeed in this role, you will need strong physical fitness, excellent attention to detail, and effective communication skills. A valid driver's license is highly desirable but not essential.

Required Skills and Qualifications

We are looking for individuals who possess:

  • Previous experience in a manual handling role or similar
  • Strong physical fitness and ability to lift and move heavy items
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to providing high-quality service
