Early Childhood Educator Role

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic early childhood educator to contribute to high-quality educational programs in a supportive, reflective, and collaborative environment that values relationships, learning, and ongoing development.
About the Position
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing quality education and care to children aged 0-5 years. They will work collaboratively with the room leader and other educators to plan and implement educational programs that meet the needs of each child.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Contribute to the educational program, including maintaining developmental records.
- Interact respectfully and positively with children and families.
- Work collaboratively and respectfully within a large and diverse team.
- Maintain a current understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Standards.
- Support and actively contribute to all diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives.
- Demonstrate a commitment to professional development and continuous improvement.
- Undertake the Responsible Person and/or Room Leader roles as required.
- Follow approved policies and procedures to ensure children's safety.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A Diploma in Early Childhood Education or equivalent qualification.
- Approved First Aid, CPR, and Asthma and Anaphylaxis qualifications.
- Working with Children Check.
- Identify and Respond to Children and Young People at Risk training.
- Food Handling training.
- Flexibility to vary start and finish times.
