Insolvency Accountant

Lead Group is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Insolvency Intermediate Accountant to join their team in Brisbane. As an Insolvency Intermediate Accountant, you will play a key role in supporting the business insolvency and advisory team, providing accurate reporting and ensuring the smooth operation of formal insolvency and restructuring engagements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day issues on formal insolvency and restructuring engagements, including trade-on management, receipts, and payments, and assist in stakeholder communication both written and verbal
- Assist in advisory, informal engagements, including independent business reviews and informal turnaround assignments
- Compile information, draw conclusions, and make recommendations
- Build and develop relationships with clients, including promoting the business restructuring offering
- Ensure all working papers are accurate and the file is maintained in an appropriate manner
- Ensure investigations are completed and any identified contraventions are reported on a timely basis
Requirements:
- Work experience in a similar role from 1-3 years
- Degree-qualified in the relevant area
- CA or CPA qualification (or studying towards)
- Ability to work as a team and independently as required
- Strong communication with clients and team members to ensure strong relationships
- High attention to detail due to the sensitive nature of the work
