Job Title: Insolvency Intermediate Accountant
About the Role:
Lead Group is seeking a skilled Insolvency Intermediate Accountant to join their team in Brisbane. As an Intermediate Accountant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the business insolvency and advisory team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day issues on formal insolvency and restructuring engagements, including trade-on management, receipts, and payments.
- Assist in advisory, informal engagements, including independent business reviews and informal turnaround assignments.
- Compile information, draw conclusions, and make recommendations.
- Build and develop relationships with clients, promoting the business restructuring offering.
- Ensure all working papers are accurate and the file is maintained in an appropriate manner.
- Ensure investigations are completed and any identified contraventions are reported on a timely basis.
Requirements:
- Work experience in a similar role from 1-3 years.
- Degree-qualified in the relevant area.
- CA or CPA qualification (or studying towards).
- Ability to work as a team and independently as required.
- Strong communication with clients and team members to ensure strong relationships.
- High attention to detail due to the sensitive nature of the work.
