We're seeking a highly skilled and values-driven leader to oversee our workplace investigations team. The ideal candidate will possess excellent mentoring skills, a deep understanding of workplace laws, and the ability to navigate complex cases with ease.
About the Role:
This is an exceptional opportunity for a seasoned professional to make a meaningful impact in shaping our organisational culture and ensuring a safe and respectful work environment. You will be responsible for leading a high-performing team of investigators, mentoring and coaching them to achieve exceptional results, and developing and implementing best practices in workplace investigations.
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a team of investigators, providing guidance, support, and mentorship to ensure they are equipped to handle complex cases effectively.
- Develop and implement effective investigation strategies and procedures to ensure compliance with relevant legislation and policies.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders to identify and address systemic issues and develop targeted solutions to improve workplace culture and safety.
- Provide expert advice and guidance on workplace investigations, including procedural fairness and trauma-informed practice.
- Maintain accurate and comprehensive records of investigations, including reports, minutes, and correspondence.

Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you'll need:
- Proven leadership experience in a similar field, with a strong track record of mentoring and developing high-performing teams.
- Extensive knowledge of workplace laws, regulations, and policies, particularly in relation to investigations and procedural fairness.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
- A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as Human Resources or Industrial Relations.
- Relevant certifications or qualifications in workplace investigations or a related field.
