Electrical Design Expert

The role of an Electrical Design Expert involves providing expertise in electrical design for both single and multi-disciplinary projects. This includes leading small to medium-sized design projects, ensuring best practice delivery while managing costs and timelines, and developing strong relationships with clients.

About the Role:
  • Provide electrical design leadership on both single and multi-disciplinary projects across a range of sectors.
  • Lead small to medium-sized engineering design projects and support larger, more complex projects to ensure effective and efficient delivery.
  • Maintain clear and consistent communication with external clients and authorities, as well as internal colleagues and managers, to ensure alignment and successful project outcomes.
  • Deliver best practices to achieve optimal outcomes for clients, focusing on saving time and reducing costs without compromising on quality.
  • Build solid, long-term relationships with clients, identifying new business development opportunities and understanding their evolving needs.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Contribute to the development and growth of the organization by supporting strategic goals and initiatives aimed at enhancing overall success.
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of industry trends, technologies, and best practices to continuously improve design and delivery.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
  • Expertise in electrical building services engineering and design documentation.
  • 5 to 8+ years' industry experience on Australian building services projects, ideally in a consulting environment.
  • Well-versed in effectively delivering multiple, concurrent projects ranging in scale and sector.
  • Strong client relationship management and project management skills.
