Key Responsibilities- Design and develop processes for data ingestion and transformation, creating a unified source of truth for accurate reporting and insights.
- Produce a range of data sets, dashboards, and reports to guide decision-making and influence agency priorities, strategies, and policy initiatives.
- Engage proactively with stakeholders across Government Data and Analytics agencies and internal teams to develop robust data-driven strategies and business cases.
- Analyse business system risk data to identify trends, pain points, and opportunities for improvement.
- Collaborate with internal and external partners to establish a reporting framework that aligns with user and operational needs.
- Support projects through detailed analysis, impact assessments, testing, training, and business transitions, proposing effective solutions.
- Lead process improvement initiatives, working closely with stakeholders to evaluate and report on potential changes and implement systems modifications.
- Develop and maintain performance metrics, methods, and targets, documenting processes to support ongoing business improvement.
- Tertiary qualifications in Computer Science, Data Analytics, or a related field.
- Proven experience in data analysis, reporting, and visualisation, with a track record of working on complex data projects.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate with stakeholders and translate business needs into data-driven strategies and solutions.
- Strong analytical skills with the capability to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
- Experience in establishing and leading process improvement initiatives and maintaining performance metrics.
