Equipment Maintenance Role - Toro Australia

Toro Australia is seeking a skilled Equipment Maintenance Specialist to join our team in Canberra, ACT.

This role will be responsible for the mechanical work involved in repair, maintenance, and servicing of turf maintenance-related equipment within a nominated region in support of a wider national network.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Manage field service priorities and schedules effectively.
  2. Ensure the safety, cleanliness, and proper resourcing of our service fleet vehicles.
  3. Perform various mechanical tasks in repairing, maintaining, and servicing turf maintenance-related equipment.
  4. Establish and maintain relevant service-related information.
  5. Provide product service training to clients as required.
  6. Build and maintain a customer base to promote the ongoing financial growth of the Service Centre.
  7. Participate in regular internal product-based training to meet and exceed OEM service standards.

Requirements:

  1. Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  2. Experience in the maintenance and repair of mobile equipment, including hydraulic and electrical systems, diesel and petrol engines.
  3. Ability to use test and diagnostic equipment to determine the cause of mechanical or electrical problems.
  4. Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to establish effective business relationships with internal and external customers.
  5. A valid Australian Motor Vehicle License.
