About the Role
Swinburne University of Technology is seeking a qualified Electrician to join its Trades and Engineering Technologies Department as a Vocational Education Teacher. The ideal candidate will have significant experience in electrical trade and possess a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment.
Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality education and training programs to apprentices, pre-apprentices, and industry professionals. This includes teaching units from the current Electrical Training Packages UEE30820 and UEE22020.
Qualifications and Experience
To be considered for this role, applicants must hold a Qualified 'A' Grade Electrician certification and a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment TAE40116. Solar Accreditation or Qualification and/or Experience are desirable but not essential.
Salary and Benefits
The estimated salary range for this position is $80,000-$120,000 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience. Swinburne University of Technology offers competitive rates, flexible working options, leave, and parenting/carer policies to support work-life balance.
