Key Responsibilities- Business Insight and Analysis: Gain a deep understanding of the customer's strategic business expectations and solution requirements.
- Solution Design and Architecture: Identify how existing solutions can best meet business requirements or recommend necessary improvements.
- Subject Matter Expertise: Serve as a subject matter expert in retail business and advanced technology applications within the industry.
- Thought Leadership: Provide thought leadership to optimize retail technology spending and suggest improvements in areas like application rationalization, infrastructure and operations, process optimization, asset management, financial management, etc.
- Technical Specification: Convert business requirements into technical specifications to effectively communicate with technical teams for successful business outcomes.
- Recommendations and Roadmaps: Create formal recommendations supported by an action roadmap to align technology deliverables with retail business goals.
- Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate closely with the SAS team to maintain necessary practice discipline and ensure consistent outcomes.
- Industry Knowledge and Trends: Stay informed about retail industry best practices and relevant technology trends to provide forward-looking and valuable recommendations.
- Over 10 years of experience in business architecture, business analysis, and solution design.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in consulting or as a senior business architect / analyst / solution architect in the retail business sector.
- Experience in developing business value chains, value streams, business capability models, application landscape models, and business value mapping.
- Experience in creating business requirements, solution presentations, cost-benefit analysis, and improvement roadmaps.
- Experience in conducting application health checks, rationalization, and optimization.
- Knowledge and understanding of solution architecture, cloud computing, SDLC, and Agile project management concepts.
- Exceptional verbal, written communication, and presentation skills, with the ability to interact and influence at all organizational levels.
- Familiarity with major industry frameworks and standards such as BizBok, BABok, TOGAF, and COBIT.
- Exposure to emerging technologies such as GenAI, ML, and Digital Twins, with an understanding of their business and IT impacts.
