About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our team as a Short Stay Worker at Kalgoorlie Aboriginal Short Stay Accommodation (KASSA). As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing support and care to our residents, ensuring their comfort and well-being during their stay.

Key Responsibilities

  • Clean and prepare resident rooms to a high standard
  • Maintain the facility's communal areas, including cleaning and organizing common spaces
  • Support residents with their daily needs, including assisting with meals and activities

Requirements

  • Knowledge of the Aboriginal community and intergenerational trauma
  • Driver's license
  • Working with Children Check
  • Understanding and respect for Aboriginal culture and the ability to work effectively with Aboriginal people
