About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate individual to foster intergenerational connections between residents of aged care facilities and preschool children.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist taking residents to a local Children's Centre, engaging with preschool children through activities such as singing, dancing, reading stories, and playing games.
  • Foster meaningful relationships between residents and preschool children, promoting social interaction and reducing feelings of isolation.

Requirements:

  • Aged 18 years or older
  • National Volunteer Police Check arranged and paid for by the organization
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check

Working Hours:

The visits run fortnightly on Monday mornings, leaving at 9:00am onwards and returning in time for lunch approx 11:45am.
