Remote Technical Writer sought for a challenging role

About the Job

We are looking for an experienced Technical Writer to create high-quality defence documentation that meets industry standards.

This is a great opportunity for someone with strong technical writing skills and experience in defence publishing, to join our team and contribute to our expanding portfolio of projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Produce accurate and user-friendly defence manuals in compliance with DEF(AUST)5629B/C standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure consistency and quality across all documentation.
  • Develop and maintain documentation guidelines and processes to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Remotely engage with project stakeholders to deliver timely and compliant documentation solutions.
Required Qualifications & Experience
  • Demonstrated experience as a Technical Writer in the defence sector, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality publications.
  • Strong understanding of defence standards, including DEF(AUST)5629B/C, and ability to apply them effectively.
  • Excellent written communication skills, with the ability to produce clear, concise and well-structured content.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a distributed team, managing multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
