About the Job

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chef de Partie to join our culinary team at Marriott International. As a Chef de Partie, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking food to the highest standards, ensuring that every dish that leaves the kitchen is of the highest quality.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and cook food according to recipes, quality standards, presentation standards, and food preparation checklist.
  • Manage team performance and standard.
  • Supervise kitchen sections.
  • Monitor the quality and quantity of food that is prepared.
  • Communicate assistance needed during busy periods.
  • Ensure the quality of the food items.

  • Conduct trainings for others.
Requirements
  • Experience in a dynamic restaurant setting is highly valued.
  • A passion for culinary artistry and a desire to innovate in the kitchen.
  • Background in high-end restaurant or banquet kitchen is advantageous.
  • A proactive and upbeat demeanor that inspires excellence.
  • Keen to take on new challenges and grow within your career.
  • Qualifications in Commercial Cookery III and IV or equivalent are preferred.
  • A current Victorian RSA is essential for your role.
