Maintenance Technician

The role of the Maintenance Technician involves carrying out repairs and maintenance tasks to ensure the smooth operation of our facilities. This includes responding to guest repair requests, communicating with guests to resolve issues, and performing preventive maintenance on equipment.
- Maintenance of interior and exterior landscaping, as well as external sprinkler systems is a key responsibility.
- The candidate will be required to test, troubleshoot, and perform basic repair work on various types of equipment including plumbing, electrical components, and kitchen appliances.
- Programming TVs and performing general housekeeping and inventory duties are also essential aspects of this position.
The ideal candidate will possess fundamental knowledge or have the ability to acquire knowledge in the following areas:
- Air conditioning and refrigeration
- Electrical systems
- Mechanical systems
- Plumbing
- Pneumatic and electronic systems
- Carpentry and finish skills
- Kitchen equipment maintenance
- Vehicle maintenance
- Energy efficiency
- General building maintenance
This role requires strong organizational and time management skills to effectively manage multiple tasks and priorities.
In addition to the above responsibilities, the candidate will be expected to:
- Display proficiency in computer skills including inputting schedules and making temperature adjustments.
- Utilize the Lockout/Tagout system before performing any maintenance work.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
