Maintenance Technician Position

At our manufacturing facility, we have an exciting opportunity for a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team. As a key player in maintaining the smooth operation of our production processes, you will be responsible for ensuring that all equipment and machinery are functioning optimally.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent problem-solving skills, be able to think critically, and demonstrate a proactive approach to maintenance and repairs. Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, pneumatics, and hydraulics is essential, as well as experience working with various types of machinery and equipment.

In this role, you will perform routine maintenance tasks, troubleshoot complex issues, and collaborate with other team members to achieve maintenance goals. You will also be required to maintain accurate records and reports related to maintenance activities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Carry out regular maintenance tasks to prevent equipment breakdowns and ensure optimal performance
  • Troubleshoot complex technical issues using mechanical principles and industry best practices
  • Collaborate with colleagues to achieve maintenance objectives and improve overall plant efficiency
Requirements:
  • Experience in a similar maintenance or technical role
  • Strong understanding of mechanical systems, pneumatics, and hydraulics
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
  • Reliable transportation to Dandenong VIC
