Job Description

As a Thrift Shop Assistant, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, processing donations, and maintaining the appearance and upkeep of the store. You will also assist with organization of store promotions, volunteering, and financial processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maximise sales and revenue through efficient processing of donations
  • Maintain optimal store stock levels
  • Deliver excellence in customer service
  • Assist with organisation of store promotions
  • Support volunteers
  • Contribute to store financial processes
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • Retail experience
  • Basic working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Ability to work effectively with volunteers (desirable)
  • Certificate in Retail Operations / Diploma of Business (desirable)
  • A current VIC Drivers Licence
  • Proof of Eligibility to Work in Australia
