Theatre Bookings Officer Role

We are seeking a Theatre Bookings Officer to provide an efficient booking service for all patients requiring procedure/treatment bookings.

This is a fixed term temporary full-time opportunity that involves establishing and maintaining effective communication with patients undergoing procedures or surgery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Effectively utilise procedural/surgical lists and clinic appointments prioritisation of patients for care in collaboration with clinical staff.
  • Maintain information systems relating to respective waiting lists by ensuring additions and amendments are performed in appropriate time frames in consultation with clinical staff in Procedural bookings/Theatre and Outpatients.
  • Ensure all clinical questions are referred to the appropriate clinical area/clinician or supervisor.
