Job Title: Civil Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Civil Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management, and 1-2 years of experience in the civil industry.

The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting and working with the Site Team to achieve successful delivery of projects. This includes:

  • Utilizing their thorough understanding of drawings, specifications, and quality, WHS, and environmental requirements for all site-related activities.
  • Supporting the implementation of project quality, WHS, and environmental management plans on all projects.
  • Assisting with daily project monitoring for toolbox inspections, checklists, documentation, and record keeping.
  • Assisting with the monitoring and updating of the construction program and site activity.
  • Ensuring materials are procured in advance of the construction program.
  • Assisting in monitoring daily work activities to maximize the utilization of plant and resources.
  • Implementing improvements for managing site-related costs.

About the Role

As a Civil Engineer, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality residential, industrial, and infrastructure projects across Greater Sydney, the Illawarra, and Hunter Regions.

Requirements

  • A degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management, or working towards.
  • 1-2+ years previous experience as an Engineer in the civil industry, ideally within residential subdivisions/bulk earthworks.
  • A current White Card & Drivers Licence.
  • A strong commitment to health, safety, environment, and quality standards and practices.
  • Excellent relationship-building, influencing, and negotiation skills.
  • A proactive and positive attitude, with the ability to show initiative and take ownership.
  • Strong communication and organisation skills, including strong attention to detail.
  • Strategic and analytical thinking skills with the ability to problem-solve.
  • Confidence in using technology, including CRM-based applications and proficiency across the Microsoft Office suite.
