About This Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Early Childhood Teacher to join our team at Only About Children. As a key member of our educational team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality, play-based learning programs that cater to the diverse needs of our children.

About Only About Children

At Only About Children, we believe that children have the right to a choice when it comes to their learning. Our curriculum is built around child-led play-based learning, which is embedded into our daily practice. Our programs are designed to inspire children to grow, learn, and discover in a fun and engaging environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and implement educational programs that value a holistic view of each child's development
  • Maintain ongoing records of children's development, program, and daily information
  • Assist with daily room tasks, such as activity preparation and mealtimes
  • Ensure the high quality of services in consideration of the National Quality Standards
  • Comply with relevant Government Regulations
  • Guide team members with their professional development, individual goals, and performance
Requirements
  • A Bachelor of Teaching (Early Childhood) or equivalent ACECQA approved teaching qualifications
  • Valid NESA registration (Early Childhood)
  • Minimum two years full-time work experience
  • Experience in planning and implementing educational programs that value a holistic view of each child's development
  • Strong understanding of the National Quality Framework and EYLF
  • Effective implementation of pedagogy in teaching practice
  • Valid employee Working with Children Check number
