Electrical Power Systems Lecturer

Edith Cowan University is seeking a lecturer to contribute to the development of high-quality programs in Electrical Power Systems.

The successful applicant will have a strong track record in research and teaching in electrical power systems and will be able to leverage on unique research facilities towards industry collaboration and high impact research outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and teach courses in Electrical Power Systems at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
  • Conduct research in Electrical Power Systems, publish in top-tier journals, and attract external funding for research projects.
  • Supervise honours students and postgraduate students in Electrical Power Systems.
  • Participate in academic administration and contribute to the development of policies and procedures.

Applicants must demonstrate personal attributes that are congruent with the university's values of integrity, respect, rational inquiry, personal excellence and courage.

Requirements:
  • A doctoral degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • Proven teaching experience at the tertiary level.
  • Strong research track record in Electrical Power Systems.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
