Job Overview

As a Banking Consultant, you will play a key role in generating opportunities for deposits and home lending, providing recommendations to improve sales performance, and assessing customer needs through open and targeted communication.

">Key Responsibilities
  • Generate opportunities for deposits and home lending using the agreed sales process.
  • Provide recommendations to the Branch Manager for initiatives to improve sales performance of the store.
  • Assess customer needs through open and targeted communication with customers and recommend appropriate options using the agreed sales process.

You will be responsible for processing over-the-counter transactions, providing accurate and timely service, and supporting customers with digital platforms for personal banking. Additionally, you will provide support for digital onboarding processes and demonstrate a risk management culture in line with Suncorp Bank's values.

">Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Demonstrated experience in a retail customer sales & service environment.
  • Comfortable with digital customer service platforms to assist customers in real-time.
  • Ability to navigate and troubleshoot common digital banking applications and mobile services with customers.

A willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies is essential for success in this role. You should have a strong understanding of digital verification and ID validation systems used in customer onboarding, as well as proficiency in digital payment technologies such as mobile wallets and online payments.
