Food Service Assistant Job Description

Our team is looking for a skilled and motivated Food Service Assistant to join our dynamic kitchen environment. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to develop their skills in food preparation, customer service, and teamwork.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the chef in food production and preparation ensuring high-quality dishes are delivered to our customers.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation in the kitchen at all times.
  • Support with kitchen duties during peak hours, ensuring efficient service delivery.
  • Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system for customer transactions accurately and efficiently.
  • Deliver excellent customer service and ensure a positive dining experience for our customers.

Requirements:

  • Possesses a passion for food and delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Has strong communication skills and presents themselves professionally.
  • Is confident in working independently and as part of a team.
  • Previous experience in kitchen support or customer service is preferred.
