Job Opportunity: Personal Care Assistant

Personal care assistants play a vital role in supporting individuals with daily living tasks, promoting independence and well-being. We are seeking dedicated professionals to join our team in providing high-quality care services.

The successful applicant will be responsible for assisting clients with their personal care needs, including medication management, applying medical aids, and documenting patient files. This is an excellent opportunity for those who enjoy working in a dynamic and rewarding environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide personalized care services to clients based on their assessed needs and care plans.
  • Encourage and support clients in maintaining their independence and coping mechanisms.
  • Administer medications as per scope of practice and assist with medical aid applications.
  • Accurately document client information and maintain patient records.
  • Communicate effectively with the registered nurse and provide feedback on any changes observed in client health or environment.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Certificate 3 in Home and Community Care, Aged Care, Disability or Individual Support.
  • Current First Aid Certificate Level 2.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
