Job Title: Professor/Discipline Lead of Nursing

This is a senior academic position that will play a key role in advancing outstanding nursing education and research at national and international level.

Job Description:

The successful candidate will lead the development, delivery, and enhancement of high-quality nursing education for the faculty. This includes designing and implementing curriculum, leading teaching and learning design, and fostering strong research partnerships with industry and other stakeholders.

The position requires a PhD in Nursing or related discipline, and/or relevant work experience. The successful candidate will have evidence of academic excellence in nursing education and research, with a national/international profile.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • A PhD in Nursing or related discipline, and/or relevant work experience.
  • Evidence of academic excellence in nursing education and research, with a national/international profile.
  • Registered Nurse eligible for registration with the relevant professional body.
  • Experience with curriculum accreditation and alignment with relevant standards.
  • Demonstrated experience in teaching and learning design using a range of pedagogical approaches.
  • Evidence of teaching effectiveness and passion for educational excellence and fostering this in others.
