Nursing Education and Research Leader

This role plays a pivotal part in the School, spearheading and advancing outstanding nursing education and research at national and international levels. As a Professor and Discipline Lead, you will lead the development, delivery, and enhancement of high-quality nursing education for the Faculty.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop, deliver, and enhance high-quality nursing education programs
  • Foster strong partnerships to advance research
  • Enhance the reputation of UNSW through interdisciplinary research in health systems and nursing
Requirements:
  • A PhD in Nursing or a related field and/or relevant work experience
  • Evidence of academic excellence in nursing education and research with a national/international profile
  • Registration as a Registered Nurse eligible for registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (NMBA)
  • Experience with curriculum accreditation and alignment with NMBA and TEQSA standards
