Job Summary

This full-time role offers a unique opportunity to make a significant impact and truly carve out your own path in a rural industry. As a Marketing and Sales professional, you will be responsible for promoting our products and services across various channels, leveraging your expertise in sales and customer service to drive business growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct counter sales and provide excellent customer service, with a focus on delivering exceptional customer experiences.
  • Utilize your eye for detail to display products effectively and conduct accurate stock checks, ensuring our store remains well-stocked and visually appealing.
  • Participate in product training to stay up-to-date on our latest offerings and develop a deep understanding of our products.
  • Establish and manage marketing plans for field days and special events, creating engaging experiences for our customers.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to develop seasonal sales and marketing strategies, driving business growth and revenue.
  • Create compelling written content for media, SMS, website, and other channels, showcasing your writing skills and ability to communicate effectively.
  • Assist with financial and budget management for media and communications campaigns, ensuring we stay within budget and achieve our marketing goals.
  • Develop and maintain positive, proactive relationships with customers and vendors, building a strong network of contacts and partners.

Requirements

  • Tertiary qualifications and/or equivalent experience in social media, digital strategy, communications, and media.
  • Strong written communication skills, with the ability to create engaging content and communicate effectively with various stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of the media landscape, with experience in content development across various platforms, including written, video, and digital.
  • A natural ability to build meaningful relationships and an enthusiasm for media, with a results-driven approach.
