Position Overview
The Clinical Care Coordinator will play a pivotal role in guiding the clinical team in collaboration with the Clinical Care Manager and General Manager. This position is crucial for maintaining compliance with relevant legislation and ensuring the delivery of quality care and lifestyle for our residents. Responsibilities include:
- Overseeing all clinical operations in accordance with Regis policies and procedures.
- Promoting continuous improvement initiatives across clinical and lifestyle services.
- Ensuring accurate and timely completion of clinical documentation.
- Coordinating and supporting audits and clinical performance indicators.
- Maintaining up-to-date resident health records and clinical documentation.
- Monitoring adherence to best practice medication management protocols.
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate will be a collaborative leader with:
- Relevant tertiary qualifications or equivalent recognition in Australia.
- Current AHPRA registration as a registered nurse.
- Extensive experience in senior clinical roles within the health sector, particularly in aged care.
- A solid understanding of care assessments in the aged care environment and familiarity with AN-ACC.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficiency in various IT applications.
- A comprehensive understanding of AN-ACC funding and aged care standards.
