SEE Group is a leading civil construction, mining, and infrastructure company with over 35 years of experience in delivering excellence. We are seeking an experienced Engineering Surveyor to join our Mining and Resources division on a significant civil/mining project based in Orange, NSW.

This is a full-time FIFO position on an 8/6 roster travelling from Brisbane to Orange. As a Surveyor with SEE Group, you will work closely with teams across engineering, supervision, and project management to deliver high-quality results.

Key Responsibilities
  • Liaise with site supervisors and engineering staff on a daily basis
  • Conduct general survey fieldwork, including compiling work-as-executed models and creating field set out designs
  • Prepare survey sketches, create machine control files, and interrogate infrastructure design to identify issues
  • Calculate volumetric and area quantities, install, measure, and adjust survey control networks, and carry out aerial drone flight surveys
  • Create earthworks models as required
Essential Skills and Attributes
  • Tertiary qualification in surveying, spatial science, or a related field
  • Knowledge of current Engineering surveying techniques and experience in actual project delivery
  • Experience with TBC, 12d, and a full range of surveying equipment
  • Demonstrated numerical accuracy and analytical skills, as well as establishing and maintaining effective working relationships
  • Proven management skills, practices, and planning ability, with the ability to lead, motivate, and influence others
  • UAV experience is an advantage
