Civil Project Surveyor

We are seeking an experienced Engineering Surveyor for a full-time FIFO position on a significant civil/mining project in NSW. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for survey fieldwork, compiling work-as-executed models, creating field set out designs, and installing survey control networks.
Responsibilities
* Liaise daily with site supervisors and engineering staff to ensure effective project delivery.
* Conduct general survey fieldwork, including data collection and analysis.
* Compile work-as-executed models to track project progress and identify potential issues.
* Create field set out designs to ensure accurate and efficient project execution.
* Prepare survey sketches and create machine control files to support project operations.
* Interrogate infrastructure design and identify potential issues to minimize project risks.
* Calculate volumetric and area quantities to ensure accurate project cost estimation.
* Install, measure, and adjust survey control networks to maintain project accuracy.
* Conduct aerial drone flight surveys to capture project progress and identify potential issues.
Essential Skills and Attributes
* Tertiary qualification in surveying, spatial science, or similar.
* Knowledge of current Engineering surveying techniques and experience in actual project delivery.
* Experience in TBC, 12d, and use of a full range of surveying equipment.
* Demonstrated numerical accuracy and analytical skills to ensure accurate project delivery.
* Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with site supervisors and engineering staff.
* Proven management skills, practices, and planning ability to lead project teams effectively.
* UAV experience is an advantage, but not required.
