Speech Pathologist - Clinical Leadership Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Speech Pathologist to join our team as a clinical leader. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work with children, adolescents, and families with complex mental health needs.

About the Opportunity

This is a key leadership position within our service, requiring strong communication and collaboration skills. As a clinical leader, you will be responsible for providing specialist speech therapy services, leading clinical practice, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide specialist speech therapy services to children, adolescents, and families with complex mental health needs.
  • Lead clinical practice and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Supervise and support speech therapy staff.
  • Conduct assessments and screenings in Youth Justice and Youth Court settings.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Extensive clinical experience in mental health speech therapy services.
  • Advanced clinical experience in Child and Adolescent Forensic Mental Health.
