Job Title: Senior Project Engineer Mechanical

At KION Group, we are seeking an experienced Senior Project Engineer Mechanical to join our team. As a key member of our mechanical design team, you will be responsible for leading projects from concept to completion, ensuring timely delivery, and maintaining high-quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the mechanical design team on assigned projects, including coordinating and allocating tasks
  • Attend sales and project review meetings
  • Develop system designs and layouts
  • Manage design schedule, budget, and work orders
  • Liaise with Project Managers, architects, builders, consultants, and purchasing team
  • Check and approve drawings, calculations, and technical documentation
  • Develop mechanical installation work packages and inspection and test plans
  • Provide technical support and advice to other areas of the business and junior employees
  • Assist with system commissioning and testing
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in mechanical project engineering, with a strong background in design and delivery
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Strong technical knowledge of mechanical systems and design principles
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, with a focus on timely delivery and quality
  • Proficiency in relevant software and tools, such as CAD and project management software
