**Compounding Pharmacy Role**

This is a unique opportunity to join a rapidly growing compounding pharmacy in Queensland and Australia.

As a compounding technician, you will be involved in creating a range of medications and cosmetic products including creams, capsules, lozenges, and solutions. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting with various compounding activities under the supervision of a registered pharmacist.
  • Creating nutritional products, creams, lotions, troches, etc.
  • Maintenance of technical equipment.
  • Restocking medications.
  • Performing order entry, batch management.
  • Operating the compounding computer system including compounding module.
  • Attending to customer enquiries and requests.
  • Following standard operating procedures.
  • Cleaning and any other duties as required.

**Requirements:**

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • A high school completion or equivalent qualification.
  • Pharmacy assistant training or diploma.
  • Hospital assistant experience.
  • Detailed oriented with good organisation skills and effective working in high stress environments.
  • The ability to learn quickly and multitask effectively.

**Benefits:**

We offer:

  • A competitive salary of $50,000 - $55,000 per year.
  • An 8-hour shift schedule.
  • Supplemental pay types including Christmas bonus and performance bonus.

**Others:**

We are looking for a committed, motivated individual with excellent communication, math, and computer skills, as well as a positive attitude. Compounding medication experience is preferred but not compulsory. Work authorisation in Australia is also preferred.
