Daifuku Oceania is a leading provider of intralogistics and airport systems, with a strong presence in Australia, New Zealand, and Malaysia. We are seeking an experienced HSE Manager to join our team in Melbourne or Brisbane.

About the Role

In this critical role, you will be responsible for ensuring the health, safety, and well-being of our employees, contractors, and clients. You will work closely with our operations managers and site teams to develop and implement robust health and safety policies, procedures, and training programs.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and implementing health and safety policies, procedures, and training programs
  • Conducting risk assessments and incident investigations
  • Ensuring compliance with local and national health and safety legislation
  • Providing guidance and support to site teams on health and safety matters
  • Monitoring and reporting on health and safety performance
About You

We are looking for a highly experienced and qualified HSE Manager with a strong background in health and safety management. You will have a tertiary qualification in occupational health and safety or a related field, and experience in a similar role.

Key requirements include:

  • Tertiary qualification in occupational health and safety or a related field
  • Experience in a similar role, preferably in a construction or high-risk industry
  • Strong knowledge of local and national health and safety legislation
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
